We focus on what matters, so you can too. Our tailored audits are fit to each unique business. You can expect a team that gets to know your business and your communication preferences just as thoroughly as your books.
During a review, we assess the appropriateness of the company’s accounting principles and evaluate whether the financial statements are presented fairly. We also perform analytical procedures and make inquiries of management to gain an understanding of the company’s financial position and the results of operations.
A compilation involves the assembly of financial information provided by the company into financial statements. We do not provide assurance on the financial statements, but rather present the information in the form of financial statements in accordance with industry standards.

By utilizing our UFR services, you can be confident that your organization is in compliance with the requirements set forth by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and that your financial statements are accurately reflected.
Our team specializes in preparing the Uniform Financial Statements (UFR) and Independent Auditor’s Report for organizations that contract with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to provide human and social service programs. The UFR is a required annual filing that is submitted to the Massachusetts Operational Services Division (OSD) and includes financial statements, such as the balance sheet and income statement, as well as specific information on the organization’s programs and operations.
To assist with the preparation of the UFR, we have developed a template that interfaces with our audit software. This can ease the burden on your accounting staff and help to ensure that the financial statements are accurate and complete. Our team has extensive experience with the UFR and regularly attends the annual UFR Federal and State Compliance Training course provided by the Massachusetts Society of CPAs (MSCPA) to stay up to date on the latest requirements and best practices.
